Which colors are best for modern cribs for babies?

I know there are certain colors which scientifically soothe infants and others which upset them. Some people believe in this and others don’t so I’d rather not touch on the subject, instead I will talk a bit about which colors I think look good on baby cribs and why I think so. Feel free to take everything I say with a grain of salt as each person is entitled to his or her own opinion.

I’m a fairly traditional manner I think that light blue looks good for boys and pink is great for girls, but these colors will likely only work if you are starting from scratch with the baby room. If you have already chosen furniture and said furniture is not one of these colors then I would strongly recommend against light blue or pink as it might make the room look pretty ugly.

If you already chose furniture that is colorful you might consider white modern cribs. White blends in with just about anything and it’s nice and innocent. It also matches boys and girls, you just can’t go wrong . It does seem to pick up an unhealthy amount of handprints though and any other kind of dirt that comes within 100 yards of it. Besides that it’s great and if you are selecting cribs for babies, I would recommend a white crib for any room.

If you do have the freedom to choose whichever color you like because you haven’t bought any furniture yet, consider getting a set of baby furniture with a baby crib included. This option will save you loads of time and will likely make your baby room a point of envy for many other parents who see it. Don’t be afraid to invest a few extra dollars as it could save you hours and hours of searching for matching colors.

In summary: I like white or blue as much as any other traditional father would. If you can buy a set of furniture with the crib either of these colors would look great. If you already have a set of furniture however, I would suggest going with white instead.
